Night air raid in London
In this sketch, artist and St John Ambulance Brigade volunteer Doris Zinkeisen shows the impact of the Second World War on the home front. She depicts London during an air raid, where searchlights illuminate the night sky. This sketch was part of a series of 3-dimensional dioramas, created to encourage people to donate to the Joint War Organisation.
