Hospital Ward with St John Ambulance and British Red Cross nurses
During the World Wars, the Order of St John and the British Red Cross came together to form the Joint War Organisation in order to avoid duplicating effort during conflict. To raise money, a series of 3-dimensional dioramas were created to show people the work they would be donating towards. This is a sketch design for one of the dioramas, sadly now lost.
