Jubilee (St John Ambulance Brigade) Medal 1897 awarded to J. Gregson
This medal celebrates the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s accession to the throne. It is like the Jubilee (Police) Medal 1887, differing only in the date and anniversary on the reverse. Separate versions were made in respect of the Police service, the St John Ambulance Brigade and the Metropolitan Fire Service. 910 St John Ambulance Brigade members received this medal.
