Queen's South Africa Medal 1899-1902 with two clasps awarded to J. Gregson
There are three versions of this medal, with minor differences on the reverse. One is dated 1899 - 1900 (the expected duration of the South African War) and shows Britannia’s right hand pointing at the R in Africa. The second may have had the dates removed and a ghost remains. The third, which this is an example of, shows Britannia pointing at the F in Africa.
