Letters sent between the Secretary of The Commandery in Southern Africa of The Grand Priory in the British Realm of the Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem and the Secretary-General of The Grand Priory regarding the Commandery's request to allow some senior members of the St John Ambulance Brigade in South Africa to be able to examine youth members undertaking their Junior Certificate through the St John Ambulance Association. The letters concern the Commandery's request, its discussion by the Priory Council, and the Council's recommendation that the request is denied.
