Correspondence regarding an investiture at Oamaru on 26 February 1939

Letters between W. J. Davies (Divisional Superintendent for the St John Ambulance Brigade’s Oamaru Ambulance Division) and the Secretary of The Grand Priory in the British Realm of the Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, regarding publicity from an investiture by Colonel Sir R. Heaton-Rhodes held in Oamaru in February 1939. Also included are newspaper cuttings about the investiture, a booklet accompanying the investiture ceremony, and an invitation card.
