Match box covers from the hospital in Étaples

In September 1915, the St John Ambulance Brigade opened a hospital in Étaples to help serve the front line in the First World War. To celebrate the following three Christmases, souvenir matchboxes featuring photographs from the hospital were given to the officers on Christmas Day.
