The Oxfordshire Cadet Marching Band performing in Paternoster Square, following the St John's Day service in St Paul's Cathedral
St John’s Day originates in the Order’s medieval past. The Feast of St John the Baptist was a major festival in the church calendar and was celebrated around the 24 June. The Annual Service of Commemoration and Re-dedication takes place at St Paul’s Cathedral; it combines all the grandeur of the Order of St John with a contemporary message relevant to St John Ambulance today.
