It's surprising what St John Ambulance Cadets get up to
In March 1922, a nationwide programme for under-18s was launched. Young people joined St John Ambulance for a number of different reasons, whether that was the start of the process to becoming a nurse or doctor, of because their friends were already involved. This promotional poster highlights the variety of activities Cadets could be involved with, asides from receiving training in first aid and care.
