The portrait being showcased in this photograph was commissioned by St John Ambulance to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the Cadets, of which HRH Princess Anne is Commandant-in-Chief. She has served as Commandant-in-Chief since 1970, and takes a very active approach to the role, regularly attending events across the UK to champion young volunteers.
