Air Raid Precautions (ARP) refers to the organisations and guidelines in the United Kingdom dedicated to the protection of civilians from the danger of air raids. Air Raid Precautions were published in the St John Ambulance Gazette throughout the war. St John Ambulance Brigade provided first aid training for Air Raid Wardens and supplied them with equipment such as bandages.
