St John Ambulance started in Malaysia in 1885 with the introduction of the St John Ambulance Association by medical officers in the Colonial Medical Service. Today, St. John Ambulance Malaysia has both adult and youth (Cadet) members, who provides 24-hour emergency and non-emergency services, haemodialysis centres, and nursing homes.
