Miss Ada E. Brown's Bergen-Belsen photograph album/scrapbook

The Bergen-Belsen concentration camp was liberated in April 1945. 60,000 inmates were found in extraordinary suffering. Ada Brown was one of a number of St John Ambulance and British Red Cross personnel, among the first to enter the camp following its liberation, sent to tend to those in need. She documented her harrowing experience in this scrapbook, much of it too graphic to display.
