Carrying the injured to safety at the Harrow and Wealdstone train crash
Following the horrific train crash at Harrow and Wealdstone station in 1952, St John volunteers responded in large numbers. In the immediate aftermath and the days that followed, they worked alongside the emergency services providing first aid and welfare support to the dozens of victims.
