3 Piccioli of Grand Master Martín Garzés
This coin may have been manufactured using a cylinder press, rather than being struck with a die on each side of the coin. Strips of thin prepared metal would have been fed between two rotating cylinders, speeding up the process of minting. Straight edges can be a tell-tale sign that a coin was manufactured in this way, where the strip has slipped off centre.
