Help Rebuild!
In the years that followed the destruction of the Priory Church in Clerkenwell in 1941, the Order established the 'Priory Church Rebuilding Fund' at St John’s Gate. The Fund’s activities ran for more than a decade, between 1943 and 1955, and resulted in the construction of the new priory church directly above the twelfth-century medieval crypt.
