Miniature medal group, awarded to Lady Zia Wehrner
For her services to St John in Leicestershire during the Second World War, Lady Zia was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1946. In 1956, she was promoted to Commander (CBE) for political and public service in Bedfordshire. Lady Zia was a successful owner and breeder of racehorses and was Champion Owner in 1955 and 1966.
