Spanish ebony cabinet
This ornate cabinet is purported to have been a gift to Grand Master Cotoner, whose coat of arms decorate the interior, from the King of Portugal. The central door opens to reveal an interior inlaid with tortoise shell, ivory, ebony and other decorative woods. There are forty drawers, some concealed behind others, and two parquetry tables extend from the cabinet.
