Swift

The migrating swift symbolises the global reach of St John's humanitarian work. In 2016, the St John Eye Hospital Group set up a clinic in the Muristan. In the garden is an olive tree cast in bronze with flying swifts grouped in threes, representing the three Abrahamic faiths; Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Swift is from a series of sculptures sold in aid of the Eye Hospital.
