Pilgrim badge
In 1885, Edouard Henri Furse, an expert in the coins of the Order of St John, noted that two examples of this type of badge were known of, one in the collection of Chevalier G.C. Rossi in Rome, and the other in the Strickland Collection in Malta. It is likely that the latter is one of two examples in the Museum’s collection.
