Lady Gamage presented this portrait, painted by Canadian war artist Richard Jack, to St John Ambulance in Berkshire at the event of the opening of their headquarters on 17th November 1951. At the time, she was County Superintendent of St John Ambulance Berkshire and would have been well-known amongst St John Ambulance members in the county.
