Odoardo Taliaferro
The inscription on the scroll in the bottom left of this painting describes Odoardo Taliaferro as a 'Pincerna', or a cupbearer. There would have been four cupbearers who would have taken turns to attend to the Grand Master, in Taliaferro's case, Alof de Wignacourt.
