Ostinatissimo Assedio posto da Turchi di Isola di Malta il di 21 Magio 1565
This watercolour map records the 1565 Great Siege of Malta, depicting Turkish soldiers moving boats from Marsamuscetto to the Grand Harbour for a naval assault. The text mentions the Turkish determination at the beginning of the Siege on 21 May 1565, and their shameful retreat a few months later on 8 September, along with the loss of the General commander.
