Mixed bundle of correspondence

A collection of letters and some newspaper cuttings regarding classes in First Aid and Hone Nursing for British residents in Tientsin, staffing changes at the St John Ambulance Association (SJAA) Hong Kong Branch, an extension to the SJAA hospital at Cheung Chau, the intended formation of a British Red Cross Society in Hong Kong, King George V’s Silver Jubilee Appeal on behalf of charities, suggested persons for membership of the Order of St John, and use of Order and SJAA flags for display on SJAA buildings. Correspondents include Major V. Ridler, Captain Cahusac, Alfred Morris, Ip Kwai Chung, Lieutenant-General Sir Harold Fawcus, Sir W.J. Southorn, Dr A. R. Wellington, Rosa Langley, and Sir Percival Wilkinson.

Also included are Annual Reports for the SJAA Centre in Hong Kong for 1935 and 1936, and a report on ‘A Tour in the New Territories’.
