A collection of letters, newspaper cuttings, notes, and memos regarding the creation and amendments to the ‘St John Ambulance Ordinance, 1934’ incorporating the Hong Kong branch of the St John Ambulance Association (SJAA) into law in Hong Kong, the honouring of Mr Alfred Morris’s work for the St John Ambulance Brigade (SJAB) in Hong Kong on his retirement. Correspondents include Sir William Shenton, Messrs Lee & Pembertons, Alfred Morris, General Sir Percival Wilkinson, and secretaries of the Order of St John. Also included are copies of the official Ordinance, and statistics on treatment in Hong Kong in 1934.
