Outgoing St John Ambulance Association (SJAA) "I" letters largely written by Chief Secretary Herbert Perrott. The letters relate to India and the Indian Branch of SJAA including first aid manuals, railway companies, classes, first aid and nursing courses, regulations, examinations, certificates, A large number of letters are addressed to Colonel Arthur Campbell Yate (Indian Staff Corps, Honorary Organising Commissioner of the SJAA in India).

Please note the letter books are indexed by recipient. Also, the volumes include letters created using multiple methods of copying. Due to this some letters are faded and not legible.
