"G"

Copy letter books containing "G" or "General" outgoing letters largely written by St John Ambulance Association Chief Secretary Herbert Perrott. The letters are largely administrative and relate to the general activities of the St John Ambulance Association including examinations and examiners, the issue of certificates and medallions, first aid lectures and classes, railway competitions, regulations, national and international Centres, the Central Executive Committee and Association personnel.

The letter books are indexed by both SJAA centre/location and recipient indicate the recipients of the letters as well as SJAA Centres in some volumes. The correspondents vary and relate to individuals covering all areas of the United Kingdom as well as some letters being sent internationally.

Please note the volumes include letters created using multiple methods of copying. Due to this some letters are faded and not legible.
