Accounts, Stores and Secretarial Copy Letter Books (Non-consecutive)

Copy letter books containing outgoing letters from St John Ambulance Association (SJAA) Chief Secretary Herbert Perrott (1900-1915). There are also some letters from SJAA Accountant, Store Keeper/Director of Stores and Secretary William R. Edwards (1900-1918) and Assistant Secretary Duncan Monteith (1911-1918). The letters are largely administrative and relate to the general activities of the St John Ambulance Association including examinations, the issue of certificates and medallions, lectures, examinations, classes, railway competitions, regulations, the Central Executive Committee and Association personnel.

The letter books are indexed to indicate the recipients of the letters. The correspondents vary and relate to individuals covering all areas of the United Kingdom as well as some letters being sent internationally.
