Leather-bound volumes titled "Official Register of members of the S. J. A. B. (St John Ambulance Brigade) who have received the long service medal or whose names have been submitted". The volumes are split chronologically: the first documents 1899 - 1919, the second 1919 - 1924, and the third 1925 - 1934. The first two volumes feature an alphabetical index of surnames at the front. The main body of both volumes notes initials of Deputy Commissioner, member's registered number, full name, Corps or Division, period of service, rank, remarks, date of medal/ bar/ ribbon issue and date the award was due. Entries are made in ink with typescript insertions.
