Life Saving Medal of the Order

The Life Saving Medal was authorised by the Order's Statutes in 1874, and instituted in 1874. The Medal is awarded to individuals who have risked their lives to save those of others. It is awarded in grades of Bronze, Silver, or Gold, with Certificates of Honour also awarded.
