The Volume also contain papers presented at The Order Annual General Assembly on topics including nursing (Edward H. Sieveking), the training of nurses (Henry W. Rumsey), the care needed in response mining injuries (Surgeon-General T. Longmore), transport of sick and injured persons by railway (Surgeon Sandford Moore), volunteer societies for the relief of sick and wounded soldiers in war (John Furley).
